Manga
An odd girl with short blue hair and green eyes, she has a distinctive mole on her left cheek and a mysterious past, particularly tied to her enigmatic eye patch. Powerful and ranked B, she is one of the Four Devas of Nanyo. She often wears a blue miniskirted French maid outfit and excels in professional wrestling moves, throws, and joint attacks, using handcuffs for these purposes. She is also proficient in chi blasts. Her life before becoming a Toushi is hinted at being tragic and painful. She, Teifu, and Saji have been best friends for a long time. Ryomou loves Saji and cares for Teifu, who loves her. Ryomou fights for the thrill and considers herself independent. Due to her dragon, she has a minor split personality—one side is shy and normal, while the other is more intense. This intensity isn't as severe as Ryubi, Sousou, or Hakufu. Three years before the series began, Ryomou fought Ryubi when Ryubi's dragon awakened and saved her from self-harm. As a result, Ryubi's dragon possessed Ryomou's left eye, coexisting harmoniously within her. The power even healed her after being mortally wounded by Teni. Few characters share such harmony with their dragons, but Ryomou seals it with her eye-patch and is believed to be dying because of it. Very few know about this, and it’s unclear if she shares Ryubi’s dragon or has her own. With it, she is as powerful as the Three Rulers. Her magical eye may reference the Chinese idiom "To look at a person with a new eye," attributed to Lu Meng.
Anime
In the anime, Ryomou is much more taciturn and serious, almost unemotional. She shows no shyness or romantic interest. In one scene, she remains unfazed when Saji gropes her. Her magatama is silver in the first season, and by the second season, she rivals Myousai in strength. She doesn’t have a past connection to Seito or Ryubi. Instead, her dragon seems to be her own, though its origin is unknown. She appears closer to Hakufu than in the manga, going out of her way to help her whenever possible. She even sought the Dragon Jade to save Hakufu. After being ambushed by Teni, she was badly injured. Chou-un rescued her, but Ryomou awakened her own dragon, defeating Teni. Chou-un knocked Ryomou out, bandaged her, and returned her to Nanyo after stealing the Dragon Jade. Chou-un stated that if Ryomou wasn't injured during her dragon's awakening, she could have defeated Chou-un. Ryomou recovered fully and played a significant role in the Battle of Chibi, defeating Myosai. Now, she works with Hakufu in a cosplay cafe, dressed as a cat maid, complete with a heart-shaped eye-patch.
