Initially dispatched to Sylvarant by the Pope and the King with the mission to assassinate Colette, she ends up joining the party due to unforeseen events. Shihna is tough yet kind-hearted, always accompanied by Corrine, an artificially created Summon Spirit. She is also the one Zelos enjoys flirting with the most, though she generally manages to rebuff him. At nine years old, Shihna journeyed to the Temple of Lightning with people from Mizuho to form a pact with Volt, the Summon Spirit of Lightning. Unfortunately, Volt communicates in a language comprehensible only to certain scholars. Unable to understand his reluctance to form another pact after being betrayed by his last summoner, Volt went on a rampage, killing a quarter of Mizuho's population and putting the village chief (Shihna's adoptive grandfather) into a coma. In some ways, Shihna embodies the typical teenager, oscillating between denying her feelings and striving to express them. She has a constant irritation with Zelos, possibly due to past conflicts. Shihna is a capable melee fighter who uses magic-infused cards in combat.
