Refill is the older sister of Genius and Iselia's schoolteacher. Refill maintains a calm and levelheaded demeanor but has an intense fascination with ruins of any kind. She single-handedly raised Genius from childhood and isn't afraid to use physical discipline to teach Lloyd or Genius a lesson. Though both Refill and Genius claim to be elves, it is later revealed that they are actually half-elves from the world of Tethe'allan. Their parents sent them to Sylvarant to escape the discriminatory laws of Tethe'allan and to protect the child prodigy Raine from manipulation by the Imperial Research Academy. During their flight from the Academy, Refill fell off a boat and nearly drowned, resulting in a severe case of hydrophobia. Eventually, Virginia, Refill and Genius's mother, sent them through the Otherworldly Gate to help them escape. Refill told the villagers they were elves, making Genius hide his true nature as well, which allowed them to live in Iselia. Refill is the complete opposite of Genius when it comes to cooking, often creating rather unpalatable dishes, as noted by Lloyd and several other members. She takes comments about her cooking very personally and usually loses her temper. Refill is a classic staff-wielding healer, skilled in light-element offensive spells and stat augmentations.
