He is a kind and noble individual, and an exceptionally talented cook, which is unusual given that he doesn't use his bound hands for much else. Regal finds contentment in solitude but also enjoys company and conversation, particularly with Lloyd. Lloyd looks up to Regal, expressing that he hopes to grow up and become a "cool adult" like him. Regal is a formidable fighter, combining melee skills with a touch of healing (chi) magic. He fights solely with his feet, using greaves to boost the power of his kicks. Prior to wearing his trademark shackles, Regal primarily fought using his hands; he asserts that his strength and mastery of this earlier style far exceeded those of the techniques he employs now.
