Birthday: January 18 Horoscope: Capricorn Seishin is the local priest in Sotoba and also an author of novels. His latest work is titled "Shiki," which translates to "Corpse Demon" in English. He has a keen sense for the supernatural and detects the presence of the real "shiki." Seishin is childhood friends with Toshio Ozaki and Mikiyasu Yasumori. After his father turns into one of the Shikis and becomes a Shiki himself, Seishin willingly visits the Kirishiki household and gets bitten by Sunako. At the end of the series, he transforms into a werewolf, also known as "jinrou," and saves Sunako from "death."
