yuuki natsuno

Age: 15 Birthday: December 15 Horoscope: Sagittarius A boy who lives and attends school in Sotoba. He hates living in the village and prefers to be in the city. Originally from the city, Natsuno moves to Sotoba with his parents when they decide to change their environment. He often displays a cold demeanor, particularly disliking Megumi Shimizu's presence, who has a crush on him and is obsessed with him to the point of stalking. He is kind and friendly toward those he considers friends (Tohru, Kaori, Akira, and Tohru's younger siblings). Natsuno is one of the two main protagonists in the series. His best friend Tohru is forced to turn him into a shiki. However, unlike typical shikis who cannot go out in daylight and can be killed in various ways, Natsuno becomes a rare "werewolf" type of vampire like Tatsumi, capable of enduring sunlight and being nearly indestructible. As a shiki, Natsuno avoids drinking human blood, making him weaker than Tatsumi, and aligns himself with Toshio to bring down the Kirishiki family, even though Tohru stays by Sunako's side. It is also evident that he still cares deeply about Kaori and Akira. At the end of the anime series, Natsuno tackles Tatsumi, and they both fall into a deep pit filled with dead bodies. Using a stick of dynamite, Natsuno detonates the top of the pit, burying himself and Tatsumi beneath the rubble.
