Sagittarius is a Celestial Spirit who dresses in a horse costume and is currently under the ownership of Lucy Heartfilia. His weapon of choice is a bow and arrow, with which he possesses remarkable skill.
The Gate key for Sagittarius was offered by the inhabitants of Galuna Island, alongside a reward of 7 million Jewels for anyone capable of lifting the curse plaguing the island. Team Natsu from Fairy Tail took on this mission and successfully completed it. However, they had to decline the monetary reward because they lacked official permission from their guild's master or an S-Class Mage to undertake the job. Despite this, the team did accept Sagittarius' Gate key as a token of gratitude from the islanders.
