risetsu

Risetsu, the kirin of the kingdom of Han, has loyally served her ruler, Go Ranjou, for 300 years. Despite her appearance as an innocent young girl, she is known for her mischievous nature. The bond between Risetsu and Ranjou is exceptionally strong, with Ranjou affectionately calling her his "princess" and indulging her every whim. When the search for Taiki begins, Risetsu travels to Kei alongside her master as his attendant. To conceal her true identity, she uses the koseisan, a sacred treasure granted by her king that allows her to appear as anyone the onlooker wishes to see. For Youko, Risetsu initially appears as her late friend, Rangyoku. She joins Keiki, Enki, and Renrin in their quest to find Taiki in Hourai, offering the use of Han's royal treasure, the kouyoukyou. This mirror can dematerialize the image of whoever it reflects and create infinite replicas, though these replicas have limited capabilities. Upon finding Taiki, Risetsu is deeply disturbed by the defiled state of Taiki's shirei due to their prolonged stay in Hourai. After Taiki is returned to the Twelve Kingdoms, Risetsu and Ranjou head back to Han.
