Jigglypuff is a pink Pokémon with a round body. It features pointed ears that have black interiors and large, blue eyes. Its arms are short and stubby, while its feet are somewhat longer. Atop its head is a curled tuft of fur. Its body contains air, allowing it to deflate until flat, as seen in Pokémon Stadium. Jigglypuff can float by inhaling extra air into its body, demonstrated in Super Smash Bros.
Jigglypuff uses its eyes to mesmerize opponents. It boasts an extraordinary lung capacity, surpassing most other Pokémon. Once it captures an opponent's attention, Jigglypuff inflates its lungs and starts singing a soothing and mysterious lullaby. This melody induces sleepiness in anyone who listens. If the opponent resists falling asleep, Jigglypuff risks its own life by continuing to sing until it runs out of air. It persists in singing until the opponent falls asleep. It adjusts the wavelength of its voice to match the brainwaves of someone in deep sleep, ensuring drowsiness in its opponents. Its vocal range spans over 12 octaves, but proficiency varies by individual. Its song differs by region; in some areas, it sounds like shouting. Jigglypuff is commonly found in lush green plains and grassy meadows. Scream Tail resembles Jigglypuff and is believed to be its ancestor from 1,000,000,000 years ago.
