Porlyusica is a solitary elderly healer residing in a forest outside Magnolia town. She is introverted and reclusive due to her dislike of humans. She serves as the apothecary for Fairy Tail, and it is hinted that she shares a past with Makarov.
She is the counterpart of Grandine from Edolas. However, she cannot transform into a dragon; she is entirely human. Makarov discovered her and assisted her in settling in Earthland. This was revealed in chapter 260.
