Pidgey is a small, plump avian Pokémon. It has a predominantly brown body with cream-colored areas on its face, underside, and flight feathers. Atop its head sits a short crest consisting of three tufts. The central tuft is brown while the outer two are cream-colored. Beneath this crest lie its narrow eyes, which feature white sclera and pupils along with black irises. Black angular markings extend from behind its eyes down its cheeks. Pidgey possesses a short, stubby beak and feet with two toes in front and one at the back. Both its beak and feet have a grayish-pink hue. Its tail, made up of three feathers, is short and brown.
Pidgey boasts an incredibly sharp sense of direction and strong homing instincts. It can find its way back to its nest no matter how far it has flown. This Pokémon is gentle by nature and usually opts to flee rather than confront its enemies. By flapping its wings quickly, Pidgey can create dust clouds and whirlwinds, both for self-defense and to scare potential prey. It is commonly found in meadows and temperate forests. Predators like Ekans and Sneasel pose threats to Pidgey, while Seedot serves as its prey.
Evolution
