Panput is a renowned Muay Thai fighter and movie star who competes against Goku in the first round of the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament. Known as "The Unstoppable Fighter," this title was given by Master Roshi while he was disguised as Jackie Chun.
In his biography, Panput is described as an egotistical champion who has already won two global martial arts tournaments outside of the World Martial Arts Tournament. He aims to secure his third championship victory at the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament but is defeated by Goku in the fourth match of the first round. Tien Shinhan dismisses him as "too cocky."
The fight between Panput and Goku begins with Panput making a dramatic entrance. When he throws his first punch, he asks if it was too fast for Goku to follow. Goku responds that it wasn't much of a punch, prompting Panput to demonstrate his speed and power by destroying an arena wall with an elbow strike. However, when he attacks Goku again, Goku swiftly counters with a three-hit combo to the chest, knocking Panput out cold. The World Tournament Announcer is astonished by the "single-punch" knockout, and Goku wins the match.
During the King Piccolo Saga, Panput is killed by Tambourine with a single kick to the face during a kickboxing match. Panput was fighting another opponent when Tambourine appeared and announced his intention to kill Panput before delivering the fatal blow. Later, Panput is revived along with other victims of King Piccolo and his children through the use of the Dragon Balls.
