Exeggutor is a tall, bipedal Pokémon that looks like a coconut or palm tree. Its body and legs are light brown with thin black rings, and its thick legs end in two-toed feet, each with a light yellow paw pad on the underside. Green leaves sprout from the top of its body, and it has three round, light yellow heads resembling coconuts, each with different facial expressions.
The heads of Exeggutor think independently and do not seem to care much about one another, leading to a lot of noise as each head expresses itself. Despite this, they appear to get along well and never argue among themselves. If all the heads want to go in different directions, Exeggutor's body cannot move. The heads can communicate telepathically and sometimes use this ability to make joint decisions. It uses psychic powers in battle, which are tripled due to the three heads' combined abilities. If a head grows too large, it falls off and joins others to form an Exeggcute. In the anime, Exeggutor has been seen in groups, indicating it is not a solitary Pokémon. It has been nicknamed "The Walking Tropical Rainforest" or "The Walking Jungle." On cloudy days, Exeggutor can be sluggish due to the lack of sunlight. As an evolved form via Evolution stone, Exeggutor is rarely found in the wild but can be located in forests and jungles.
Forms
Exeggutor has a regional form: Alolan Exeggutor. Due to abundant sunlight in the Alola region, Exeggutor there grows over five times taller than those elsewhere. This makes the Alola region ideal for Alolan Exeggutor. Alolan Exeggutor has a thinner, much longer neck, making it resemble a coconut or tropical palm tree more closely than its Kantonian counterpart, which looks like a shorter desert palm. It has a long, tapering tail with two leaves and a fourth light green head at the tip.
This additional head can act independently and defend the rear. The tail can use weak telepathy to scan the surrounding area. Its long neck can be used as a whip to attack enemies with its hard head. However, swinging its neck around can make it dizzy, making the neck a weak point. Its increased height reduces its need for psychic defense and instead awakens its draconic powers, resulting in weaker psychic abilities. Ancient carvings and murals depict this Pokémon. Alolans consider Alolan Exeggutor the pride of their region, believing this is how Exeggutor should look. Its extra height makes it the tallest and heaviest Grass-type Pokémon. Alolan Exeggutor can be found on Exeggutor Island, a former trial site shaped like an Exeggutor and home to many wild Exeggutor. They can also be found in the Coastal Biome of Blueberry Academy's Terarium, where Alola's island life is simulated.
Evolution
Exeggutor evolves from Exeggcute. In Alola, Exeggutor has a regional form that evolves from Exeggcute.
