Born on November 30, 1980, Nana Komatsu stands at 158 cm tall and weighs 46 kg. She comes from a large, happy family consisting of her mother Natsuko, father, older sister Nao, and younger sister Nami. Initially naive and dependent, she moved to Tokyo in pursuit of her dreams.
Unlike her friend Osaki, who had a more challenging upbringing, Komatsu grew up in a supportive environment. Her friendship with Osaki began serendipitously and significantly impacted her life. Through this bond, she became acquainted with Osaki's band, Black Stones, and its members. Later, she even helped the band "Blast" find their bassist by creating an advertisement poster.
To her delight, Komatsu discovered that the members of Blast were friends with those from Trapnest, a popular rock band she admired. Her nickname "Hachi" or "Hachiko" has dual meanings: it references both the number eight in Japanese and the loyal dog Hachiko, reflecting her initial dependency and loyalty.

Every morning, she prepares breakfast for Takumi, often decorating it with ketchup to express her mood.
Their marriage is depicted as ordinary, with typical arguments and reconciliations, shaped by her forgiving nature and his forgetful, laid-back personality. Despite hoping for a happily-ever-after, future sequences show her living in Japan while Takumi resides in London, England.
