Mitsu serves as Kanaria's medium. Her love for dolls is almost obsessive, evident in her room's decor and her frequent pampering of Kanaria. She has numerous shelves filled with dolls and frequently visits the doll shop to buy gifts for Kanaria. Although she dresses like an office lady for work, Kanaria introduces her to the other dolls as a professional photographer. In the manga, Mitsu reveals that she quit her previous comfortable job to become a pattern maker for doll dresses, selling her creations on her personal website "Angels Cage," despite the increased workload and modest success. Mitsu is generally seen as harmless and eccentric, much like Kanaria. She appears only in Rozen Maiden Träumend and the manga. In the manga, she has freckles, while her anime counterpart does not.
In the anime, she never meets Jun, but in the manga, Kanaria brings her to the Sakurada residence, where Mitsu soon nicknames Jun as "Junjun." Recognizing Jun's natural talent in designing and making dresses, she offers him a partnership, which he declines.
