In the TV anime Gundam (Universal Century series) universe, Mineva Lao Zabi is the last surviving member of the Zabi family and heir to the Principality of Zeon. She is the daughter of Dozle Zabi and Zenna Zabi.
Mineva was born during the One Year War. During the Federation siege on the space fortress Solomon, Dozle insisted that Zenna take the young Mineva and flee to Zeon's Axis base in the asteroid belt. After Zenna's death, Maharajah Karn took custody of the young princess, and Haman Karn became her regent following Dozle's death, guiding Mineva until she was ready to assume her role. At the end of the 1st Neo-Zeon War, a person claiming to be Mineva declared herself a fake, suggesting that this might have been a ruse by the real Mineva to escape the ongoing conflicts between Zeon and Earth, either to avoid being a puppet or to evade assassination by Earth extremists.
In Gundam Unicorn, Mineva plays the role of the heroine under the alias "Audrey." She is a key figure in the anti-government organization known as the Sleeves. For her own reasons, she travels to Industrial 7 as a stowaway aboard the camouflaged freighter Garencieres. While sneaking into the colony, she is rescued from mortal danger by Banagher Links, leading to significant consequences for both.
In Mobile Suit Vs. Giant God, the Zeon attempt to use Mineva Lao Zabi's Newtype abilities to awaken the Giant God and exact their revenge. However, she is rescued by Judau Ashta before they can succeed.
