seebach michael

Michael Seebach, known as Schwarzwald, is a reporter for Paradigm Press. Driven by a passion to reveal the truth to the citizens of Paradigm City, Seebach grew increasingly frustrated with the censorship imposed by the Paradigm Corporation on his work. This quest for truth evolved into an obsession, leading him to lead a double life. Over time, his dedication to uncovering the truth isolated him from everyone, including his family.

His relentless pursuit of truth resulted in an assassination attempt by Paradigm Corporation, which left his face disfigured. Determined to expose the truth, Seebach planned to destroy the city's domes. His character draws inspiration from protagonists in Lovecraft's stories.

Seebach was the first pilot of Big Duo and viewed Roger Smith, the pilot of Big O, as the only other person in Paradigm City who sought the "truth." Despite being defeated by Roger, Seebach continued his quest for truth, seemingly even after death. Through flashbacks of his final words, it is suggested that he uncovered the full truth behind the world and the memory loss forty years ago. In his last appearance, Seebach confronts Alan Gabriel, declaring him unworthy to pilot Big Duo.
