Lucky is an older-looking Exceed and Marl's husband. He is known for being very loud and aggressive. When he first met Happy, Lucky immediately swung his gardening tool at him. However, Marl, his wife, mentions that despite his rough exterior, Lucky shares the same beliefs as she does.
In reality, Lucky is Happy's biological father. Years ago, Queen Shagotte commanded that Lucky and Marl's child, Happy, be taken away and sent to Earth Land along with many other Exceed children. This was part of a mission to assassinate the Dragon Slayers. Because of this order, both Lucky and Marl opposed the mission and the queen, which led to their exile from the kingdom.
