Kyosuke has a deep love for filming and always carries a digital video recorder with him. On Christmas night, he spotted Kei Shindo sprinting down the street and attempted to capture her on camera. However, a truck obstructed his view, preventing him from getting a clear shot, and he didn't recognize her as Kei at that moment. After being consumed by thoughts of the mysterious girl from that Christmas night, he ends up leaving the film club. His girlfriend suggests they should break up, and he agrees. Eventually, he falls in love with Kei.
