Psyduck is a yellow Pokémon that looks like a duck or a bipedal platypus. It has three thick black strands of hair on its head and a wide, flat, cream-colored beak. Psyduck's eyes appear vacant with tiny pupils. Its legs and tail are short, and it has cream-colored webbed feet. Each hand has three claws.
Psyduck is frequently overwhelmed by headaches, which impair its ability to think clearly. It often stands still, attempting to soothe its throbbing head. However, when the headache becomes unbearable, Psyduck releases tension through powerful psychic abilities. These powers generate brainwaves similar to those observed during sleep, and the Pokémon cannot remember these episodes afterward. Psyduck inhabits freshwater lakes and small ponds but can also be found in rivers within tropical regions, as depicted in Pokémon Snap.
Evolution
Psyduck evolves into Golduck.
