Dewgong is a pinniped Pokémon featuring a snowy white, furry body. This fur makes it nearly invisible in snowy environments. It has two black eyes, a black nose, and two tusks protruding from its upper jaw. Its sleek form includes two front flippers and a long, flowing tail. Despite the extremely cold and ice-filled waters, Dewgong's tail enables swift and agile swimming at speeds up to 8 knots. Atop its head sits a sharp horn, allowing it to slice through thick ice floes.
This Pokémon resides on drifting icebergs in frigid ocean waters. It flourishes in lower temperatures, becoming increasingly active as the weather gets colder. By conserving thermal energy within its body, Dewgong remains unharmed even by the harshest freezing conditions. During daylight, it sleeps on bitterly cold ice or beneath shallow water. However, when night falls and temperatures drop, it transforms into a hunter, seeking out prey like Wishiwashi. After eating, Dewgong enjoys sunbathing on the beach. This activity raises its body temperature and aids digestion.
