He is a minor antagonist in Part III: Stardust Crusaders.

Gray Fly appears as an elderly man with a horseshoe hairstyle and a stag beetle imprint on his tongue. At first glance, he seems ordinary, but he is fundamentally evil. His method of operation involves killing his victims by severing their tongues with his Stand. Driven by a sadistic personality, he kills people purely for amusement. Known as a Stand user who orchestrates numerous accidents and murders to steal valuables from his victims, Gray Fly's actions are particularly malevolent. Kakyoin observes that Dio didn't need to use a spore to control him, suggesting that he was likely just hired to eliminate the Joestar group.
