Miki's best male friend and a member of the Toryo tennis team, Ginta has been the object of Miki's crush since junior high. She once confessed her feelings to him through a note, but it was discovered by his classmates. Despite feeling the same way about Miki, Ginta downplayed the confession without knowing she was watching. Later, he found out that Miki had witnessed his denial, but he couldn't bring himself to tell her how he truly felt until high school. The romantic tension between them escalates with the arrival of Yuu, which makes them realize their lingering feelings for each other.
