Upon returning to the army's headquarters, Commander Red praised him for obtaining the Dragon Radar but reminded him that his primary mission was to gather the Dragon Balls, warning that failure could result in execution. Terrified by this, Blue found relief when Red offered him a chance to redeem himself by fighting Tao Pai Pai. However, Tao Pai Pai ended up killing Blue by pressing a pressure point on his temple with his tongue. It appears that Blue is gay, as he does not show interest in Bulma or other females.
