laramie fuko

Lara and her family own the Laramie Ranch, located just outside the Kanto Safari Zone. Lara, along with her Ponyta and Growlithe, helps protect the ranch from Pokémon poachers.

Lara was planning to participate in a race with her Ponyta when Team Rocket, acting on behalf of Dario, caused an accident that resulted in Lara breaking her arm. Although saddened by this turn of events, Lara quickly realized that Ash could ride her Ponyta in the race instead.

Ash and Ponyta entered the race together, and they managed to triumph over Dario as well as all the other trainers, ultimately winning the race. During this exciting event, Lara's Ponyta evolved into a Rapidash.
