fubuki

Fubuki was once Muramasa's best friend. He had been a kinder man before Muramasa left the Mibu. Fubuki has no interest in maintaining the mutual relationship between the Mibu and humans. He is indifferent to the countless lives that will be lost if he starts a war between the two forces. Fubuki is also the leader of Taishirou and the teacher of Shinrei. He wields the powers of water and wood and is a master of Mumyo Saigyoryu, just like his student Shinrei, though Fubuki is far more powerful.

Fubuki dies when he impales himself with Shinrei's sword. However, before dying, he entrusts the Mibu Clan to Shinrei and asks Kyo to take care of Tokito. As he asks a crying Tokito to see her face one last time, the former Aka no Ou launches a deadly attack at her, but Fubuki gets in the way, ultimately dying, much to Tokito's, Shinrei's, and Kyo's dismay.
