Flare Corona (フレア・コロナ Furea Korona) is a Mage from the Raven Tail Guild.
Flare consistently exhibits an absent, peculiar expression, giving the impression she's uninterested in her surroundings. She often acts in a teasing and disturbing manner, referring to Lucy Heartfilia as "Blondie" repeatedly. Her sadistic tendencies become evident during fights with other female Mages. Flare has an immense pride in her hair, which she calls "sunset red," becoming extremely upset if it's damaged while using her Hair Magic. This anger reveals her sadism and unfairness.

Grand Magic Games Arc
During the third day's battle portion, "Alexei" faces Laxus Dreyar. Revealing himself as Ivan Dreyar, he orders Laxus to disclose the location of Lumen Histoire, with Flare and her team intimidating him. Despite this, Laxus remains determined. When Laxus mentions Makarov’s knowledge of their malicious goals, Flare angrily accuses Gajeel of betrayal. Ivan then sends Flare to fight Laxus, but she is swiftly defeated. After Laxus defeats Ivan, Flare and her guildmates are taken away by the Custody Enforcement Unit for cheating. On the evening of the third day, Flare secretly follows Fairy Tail members to Ryuzetsu Land. There, she talks to a surprised Lucy, explaining that she wasn't arrested but only questioned. Lucy asks why she's there, and Flare blushes, saying she came to apologize. She then walks away as Lucy watches her, smiling.

Sun Village Arc
When Lucy and Wendy are attacked by Sylph Labyrinth members in the Sun Village, Flare appears to help them, stopping Drake’s sniper bullets with her hair. She now bears a new mark, replacing her old Raven Tail insignia. Flare mocks the treasure hunters for their futile efforts. When asked why she's there, she jokes about stalking Lucy before revealing her true reason: she had nowhere else to go and returned to her home, the Sun Village. Flare explains that the mark on her breast is the Sun Village's mark, and she was raised by the giants from a young age.
