enho
Enho is a wise man residing in the city of Hokui, located in the province of Ei, where Keiki serves as the provincial leader. When Youko realizes she lacks sufficient knowledge about her kingdom to govern effectively, Keiki arranges for her to study with Enho. Among the citizens of Kei, only Youko, Keiki, and Enho are aware of this arrangement. Upon her arrival, Enho's residence is besieged by youma, and she steps in to protect Enho and the other residents. However, only Enho, a girl named Rangyoku, and her brother Keikei survive the attack. When Youko departs to visit Takuhou and Meikaku, Shoukou's forces assault the residence; Rangyoku is killed, Keikei is wounded, and Enho is kidnapped and taken to Gahou. Determined to rescue Enho, Youko learns from Suzu that Shoukou has taken Enho. After capturing Shoukou, he discloses that Enho is being held by Gahou. Enho is eventually rescued when Youko dispatches the royal army to attack Gahou.
