Dobengal (ドーベンガル Doobengaru) is a Mage from Sabertooth, currently the strongest guild in Fiore, and he ranks among the top 10 Mages within the guild.

During the Grand Magic Games in Crocus, Dobengal is with the other members of Sabertooth when Natsu assaults their lodging, intent on battling the Guild's Master. As Natsu confronts Jiemma, Jiemma summons Dobengal to engage Natsu. Rushing towards Natsu, Dobengal declares that he will not allow Natsu to reach his master and launches an attack. However, Natsu evades Dobengal's strike and swiftly defeats him with a single punch, stunning the rest of the guild members. They remark that Natsu is as powerful as one of Sabertooth's strongest Mages.
