Denny Brosh is Maria Ross's partner. He tends to be quite nosy and lazy, harboring a significant infatuation with his partner. Denny is very sensitive to criticism and can easily fall into despair over even minor insults. Both he and Ross are introduced when they are tasked with protecting Edward Elric. In the anime, Denny later plays a role in the rebellion against King Bradley, rescuing several characters from execution. In the manga, he reappears following Ross's apparent death. Despite being deeply saddened by the news, Ross believes it's best for him not to know she is still alive, as he struggles to hide his emotions. When Roy Mustang initiates an assault on Central, Denny rushes into the city to offer his assistance.
