Lt. Darota serves as an officer under Garma. Following Garma's death, Icelina visits Garma's former headquarters to join forces with Darota for a revenge assault on White Base. Darota leads the attack, commanding the main Gaw. During the battle, when Gundam targets the Gaws, Darota is severely injured. In a desperate move, Icelina takes control and crashes the Gaw into the Gundam, resulting in Darota's death. His loyalty to both Garma and his lover ultimately costs him his life. These events, including his alliance with Icelina and his death, are not depicted in the Mobile Suit Gundam compilation movies, though it is presumed he met his end off-screen at some point.
