Sunako's mother. It was revealed in Episode 18 that Chizuru is the one who killed Megumi. Megumi's father commented that Chizuru's perfume was present in Megumi's room every night until she died. However, it was hinted in episode one, within Megumi's dreams, that she had a role in her own demise. Chizuru was also seen in the hallucinations Megumi experienced before her death. Yoshie mentioned that Chizuru and Sunako share a special bond, akin to a mother-daughter relationship, with Chizuru taking on the role of the daughter. This explains why Sunako is so lenient with her. Chizuru prefers to drink the blood of young men, which is why she targeted Toshio and put him under her control. During their date, she revealed that she had a husband who died in the war. At the kagura festival, Toshio exposed her nature as a Shiki, and together with Megumi's father, they impaled and killed her. Toshio managed to resist her mind control because Natsuno had bitten him first and given him different instructions.
