Bob's girlfriend is known for her open-mindedness. Despite never opposing Souichiro and Bob's street-fighting activities, she becomes critical of them after they join the Juken Club. Upon learning about Maya and Mitsuomi's relationship, she concludes that Maya's ego is responsible for the misery of those around her. After Bunshichi explains the full story, Chiaki decides to support the Juken Club, though she still believes Maya's stubbornness caused past events.

Chiaki appears to enjoy having sex with Bob, which is evident in many chapters featuring her character where she is often depicted engaging in sexual activities with him. She even suggests that Bob quit school so they can focus solely on their intimate life and wake up at noon.
