Cell is a fictional graphic novel super villain who first appears in the Dragon Ball manga series created by Akira Toriyama, and later in Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT. He is the ultimate creation of Dr. Gero, developed from the cells of various characters within the series. Due to this cloning process, Cell is known as the "perfect warrior," combining genetic traits and abilities from many Dragon Ball characters, including Piccolo, Freeza, Vegeta, and Son Goku.
Cell's personality is an amalgamation of the original design and the personalities of other characters. The computer system improved upon his initial personality, integrating traits from different characters to create the perfect weapon. Throughout the Androids Arc, Cell's personality evolves significantly with each transformation. Initially, his main drive is to complete his evolution by absorbing both Android 17 and Android 18. Upon reaching his final form, he becomes focused on testing the limits of his newfound power.
Cell stands out among the series' villains for his sophistication. Given his genetic makeup from other warriors, he can psychologically manipulate them and exploit their weaknesses to his advantage.
