During Ikki's hospitalization, she steps in as Kogarasumaru's trainer and temporary member. In one notable battle, she faces off against Sleeping Forest's Water Queen, Om, ultimately defeating her with assistance from Kazu.
In a recent development, Benkei is seen delivering Yoshitsune's bloodied "Ram Jet" Regalia to Kogarasumaru's headquarters, despite having her right leg severed. After completing this mission, she breaks down and cries. It is revealed that she is the sole survivor of the Osaka battle where Genesis wiped out Trident. To escape captivity by a mecha, Benkei cut off her own leg using a concealed blade within her Panther Corsa weapon. Remarkably, she survives the ordeal without succumbing to blood loss, attributed to her vegetarian diet.
