Belldandy is unwaveringly kind, patient, and warm to everyone she encounters, not just Keiichi. However, her gentle demeanor shouldn't be mistaken for weakness. As a first-class, unlimited goddess, she possesses exceptional skills and immense power. To prevent her full magical strength from overwhelming the world, she wears a special earring on her left ear that constantly seals it. The true extent of her abilities was only revealed during the Lord of Terror arc when she reconstructed their home from rubble using merely one ten-millionth of her power.
Beyond her magical prowess, Belldandy's talents are diverse and impressive. She can change her clothing's appearance, levitate, and fly like any fully-fledged goddess. Additionally, she can teleport through mirrors, communicate with animals, perceive people's emotions as auras, heal minor wounds by accelerating metabolism, and even "speak" to machines. Her culinary skills are top-notch, and her singing voice is considered the best in heaven. Interestingly, while she cannot get drunk on alcohol, she does become intoxicated after consuming soda, albeit in a unique way that reflects her personality.
Beyond her magical abilities, Belldandy excels in more mundane pursuits. She is the top broom racer in heaven, with only Welsper from hell or Hild, the Daimakaichou herself, able to rival her. Her angel, Holy Bell (or Blesséd Bell in some English manga versions), enhances her magical powers and reflects her current state. For instance, when Belldandy falls unconscious due to a virus, Holy Bell appears comatose and covered in crystals representing the virus.
Belldandy doesn't play a significant role in maintaining Yggdrasil. Instead, she works at the Goddess Relief Agency, where she grants wishes and forms contracts with humans, similar to Peorth's work at the Earth Assistance Agency.
