She is a minor ally in Part III: Stardust Crusaders. The unnamed runaway girl initially appears disguised as a boy, but her true identity is later revealed. Demonstrating a penchant for dishonesty, she frequently lies to the Joestar group, although her stories rarely deceive anyone. She's also an overconfident swimmer, convinced she could swim from the middle of the ocean to shore. Eventually, she develops a crush on Jotaro Kujo and persistently follows the group.
However, she proves unprepared for the perilous journey, becoming heavily reliant on the group for survival. As Jotaro predicted, her presence endangers the group, putting their lives at risk. This becomes particularly evident during the battle against ZZ, where instead of using the time available to escape, she screams for help. Initially left unnamed, the 2014 anime adaptation of Stardust Crusaders identifies her as Anne.
