Basara Chapter 95 Discussion

Glad sarasa & shuri found their happiness.. What an excellent journey.

Very great manga. It was really worth reading. I've been planning to read it since couple of years. But I was even more impressed and it succeeded my expectations.

I guess this is the ending of the main story and the rest is on side characters.  I love how this concluded, I thought the manga was decent enough through the first half or so, a 7/10 easy but after Sasara and Shuri's identities were revealed to each other Basara really went up several levels of quality for me, marathoned my way through the rest, easy 10/10 content.

What a ... Well I guess you could say happy ending, it wasn't over the top and didn't give you too much insight (in to what I would have liked to know, which was what happened to Sarasa and Shuri at the end) but it definitely had a warm ending ... The only bit I wish would have been covered was what exactly happened to Japan, like who was in charge, what exactly happened to the government or w/e ...





Anyways a pretty good manga, the last bit seemed to slow down and kind of drag on a tad (since a thousand things weren't happening every chapter) but overall it was definitely worth the read. I would say it isn't as good as Red River but it is definitely leaps and bounds better than the other long Shoujo/Adventure I read, Fushigi Yuugi.

I spent the first week of my summer break re-reading this manga.  When I first read this manga, I binge-read the entire thing in 2 days; its no surprise that I missed out on a lot of the charm of this manga the first time through.  I hadn't realized how awesome characters like Kikune, Sakaki, and Kagero.  About 2/3 into the manga, I started asking myself why I gave this manga a 9/10.  By the prison arc, the manga was beginning to grow really stale and I was forcing myself to read it.



But the ending.  I don't think I've ever encountered a manga this long that culminated in such a perfect ending.  I won't be reading this manga again anytime soon.  It was such a draining journey, but it was well worth it.

one of my very first manga , glad i got the chance to read it and it worth it from the first chapter till the final chapter , i don't remember i fell ever board from any chapter every chapter was enjoyable, and the ending was satisfying seeing shuri with sasara  with each other, easily 10 from 10 without any objection.

The manga technically ends here I guess.



We never found out who the black king was unfortunately.

I loved it, I guess it was fine

It is a favorite for sure =)

I think at this rate the ending couldn't have been done any better than this. :)
