Highschool of the Dead Chapter 26 Discussion

So a third assisted death has occurred, not surprising.  Sensei figured out how to give Hirano the will to continue since Saya is a tsundere...



They should have stopped Asami from saving that useless twit and they would have had another somewhat able-bodied combatant.  Then again, did anyone want the difficulty and hardships that the group faces to be any easier?



Where's a knivery store when you need one...lol



Losing Hirano at this stage will doom the entire group at this current juncture as Takashi said since fighting the hordes of 'them' requires every combat-ready personnel to fight them off when necessary.  Wonder if they'll meet up with Shizuka's friend...



The rest of the group are starting to see the other side of the resident samurai girl... :)



The chances of any of the character's parents still being alive was greatly reduced by the HASE electronic meltdown.

Lol at how Titanic tits took Takashi's, "I need you," the wrong way. At least Hirano finally snapped out of it.

So does Takagi even like Hirano? Even though she blushed at the end of the chapter, she didn't do anything to snap Hirano out of it like kissing him and stuff. Also in chapter 1 she picked Hirano because Takashi wasn't there and she knew he was a gun otaku. Even though she did blush saying what do you mean!?! when her father told Hirano to take care of her. I'm confused!!!!!!

Asami's death was sad, good thing that Shizuka made Hirano back to his senses at the end.

I am quite sad that this chapter is so short after waiting so long for this chapter. This chapter was okay it wasnt that good after waiting so long. During the chapter I really thought Hirano was going to kill himself but luckily Shizuka made him snap out of it.

@Raigeki : In my opinion, Saya used to like Takashi but has started to get closer and closer to Hirano ever since the zombie outbreak.



So yeah, all that blushing and jealousy tend to point towards her liking Hirano. As to why she didn't do anything to help Hirano out, I suppose it's because she's a tsundere. The poor girl has to struggle in order to be honest with her feelings. So, before she could overcome her bitchiness, Shizuka rocked and slapped Hirano.

Does Takagi like Hirano? Sure...Could Saya help Hirano instead of Shizuka? Sure...So why she didn't? Because the author of manga have decided ,that we should wait for volume 8 or 9 to see it happening (I think volume 10 will be the last one ).The most interesting scenes are only in the end of movies/books/mangas/animes.



Because Saya can't just kiss him.It must be something very special.Here is how i see it:



I remember the moment (chapter 2 page 57 of manga,and episode 3 of anime),when group of students was running to the bus.One of the girl's boyfriend had been caught by zombie.And she decided to die with him.



Girl:Takuzou !



Saya: Don't go! If you get bitten then escaping will be pointless.



But that girl just could't live without the man she loved,and she ran back.



Saya:She heard me! Why is she going back? I don't understand this!! (she will undestand .....she will...but later)



Shizuka:If the rest of the world is like this,maybe we'd be better off dead.



Saya:You call yourself a nurse?



Hirano:"Look out" He killed the zombie and saved Saya



Saya:What makes you think you can interrupt me when i'm talking you,stupid tub of lard?



Hirano "Well,i don't know".Haha,his eyes were full of love when he looked at her(funny moment).  (And notice Saya's reaction-very important moment....)



The author of manga gave us a hint ,that the same situation will probably happen with Saya and Hirano. Deadly fight and desperate situation (Do you remember What Shizuka said in chapter 26 :You are a knight now.I'ts your duty to protect everyone you can.Just like Asami did! "-notice his reaction when Shizuka mentioned Asami-very important moment also ... So Hirano will decide to sacrifice his life to protect his friends ) . Saya will have a choise-go without Hirano or follow him.And she will be the only one,who will follow Hirano. And Hirano will ask her:"Why ,Saya, you followed me?" And she will say something like:"I've learned,that you must never leave the person you love.And it's better die together.(Just like her parents.They fought together for the last minute....).



So their love for each other will become evident to both of them.

But they will survive,of course :)



That's what i call "special"...
