Wow, a great chapter. Ruka... ;_;

So, are we getting a new arc finally? Hell yeah.

Ruka's past. ;_;

Even if her manager wants to end her dream our Combat Butler won't allow that to happen... right? Glad to see we're finally going somewhere, good stuff Hata.

I remember reading somewhere that, before even starting Hayate no Gotoku, the author made an one shot featuring a high school Yukiji and a then little Hinagiku being abandoned by their parents with a 80 million yen debt they had to pay.

However, I never found such manga.

                        That *starts pointing* that's.....not good. To crush her manga is like crushing her spirit, well her dream to be exact.

They tell Ruka's story of her debt, but they haven't hold Hinagiku's? Or maybe they did and I just forgot? If they did, I feel so ashamed of myself for forgetting. m(_ _)m

It's all about Ruka past.

And what's this? The manager is going to stop Ruka's manga? This can't be good.

So, is this it?

Are we never going to get to Loli A-tan?

Are we never going to have a cohesive plot/storyline in this manga?

Don't get me wrong, I know that Hayate no Gotoku has always been a parody/gag manga.

But the few times they actually had a storyline....those were the manga's HIGH points.

Ugh, this is so frustrating!

They did. Too briefly. And the worst thing is she's way too over this. I mean you look at her and you wouldn't believe she had any trouble in her life ever. That's a bad character.

Would you be able to calrify that please?

What's there to clarify? She had pretty much the same story as Hayate going - only she was younger than Hayate when it happened to him AND she had a hard-working, loving older sister who sacrificed her dreams (and possibly love) for her. When Yukiji finally managed to find them new parents, Hinagiku suddenly became a perfect human who doesn't have any trouble in life (yeah, it's just your parents abandoning you and you having to live on the streets as a baby. Mental scars, right, don't be such a drama queen) AND no visible feeling of gratitude towards her sister, who now needs her help often. Clearly it's the younger Katsura sister who deserves the number one spot in popularity polls.
