Hayate no Gotoku! Chapter 362 Discussion

Man Ruka's past and the way her parents left in a way is more sad than Hayate's.

Hayate's parents are scum and abandoned him without notice, but Ruka's parents felt betrayed by her actions and left due to Ruka's actions...thats just sad ;_;



This is the best chapter of Hayate in ages, finally we are on to something interesting.

They did. Too briefly. And the worst thing is she's way too over this. I mean you look at her and you wouldn't believe she had any trouble in her life ever. That's a bad character.



The story of Ruka's parents is so very sad...

Seriously? They're worse jerks than Hayate's parents, I mean my God! "Let's use our daughter as a tool for realising our pathetic dream! What, she did it without our help? Oh well, guess what, she's going to pay off our immense debt at her own too! Bye bye!". That. Is. Horrible!

Nice to see a more in depth look at her past.  The manager as a new villain could be interesting.

Ruka's past seems a lot like Hayate and Hinagiku's well i guess more like Hayate since Hinagiku had her sister pay it off while Hayate and Ruka had theirs payed through events that they caused. I know its her job but that's a harsh manager, pretty much telling her she can't have a life outside of work T_T

They did but it was very briefly; it wasn't given a chapter like Ruka's past








They might have mentioned it other times as well but i don't remember anything more than small flashbacks like the example i gave from chapter 98 (that chapter where Hinagiku realizes she loves Hayate)

Uh, kinda of a weak chapter...was hoping to see more of Ruka tbh.

I remember reading somewhere that, before even starting Hayate no Gotoku, the author made an one shot featuring a high school Yukiji and a then little Hinagiku being abandoned by their parents with a 80 million yen debt they had to pay.

However, I never found such manga.
