Her brother's hypotesis is wrong: It's a fact that  hair bands eat way too much.

Damn, I love Ayumu in the manga, I wonder if in the future she'll be able to hard counter Ruka as well as she does already to Hinagiku.

Oh, so it's not just me? I too thought that Hayate art looks a bit weird lately, despite having no problem with it before. Looking closely, it indeed seems to be mainly with the way Hata draws faces, even though I can't point out any particular details responsible for this.



Still, a nice chapter.

Really? All of Hata's designs look similar, but I thought you could immediately tell Ayumu and Izumi apart, at least by their expressions.

Yeah, the opening song of the movie "Bokura, Kakeyuru Sora e (僕ら、駆け行く空へ)" was performed by Haruka Yamazaki, the VA of Ruka Suirenji. Well, I think it was mentioned in this chapter for promotional reasons. According to Comic Natalie, the DVD of Hayate no Gotoku! Heaven Is a Place on Earth will be released on December 16. It will be bundled with the 31st volume of the manga. In the 30th volume, Nagi said it's up to the sales of the DVD of the movie whether the new anime of Hayate will be a TV series. So, this is what had referred to be a large promotional push for a Hayate Season 3.

Nishizawa! Sadly we don't see nearly as much of her these days, but she's my third favorite character.

Ayumu only assumes that Ruka is part of Hayate's harem. At this point, I don't think Ruka is quite in yet, but I say that the probability that Ruka will fall for Hayate's trap eventually is at least 90%.

I think Ruka is already there, all thought i wonder if they forgot about that "wish"she made Hayate do or if they are simply leaving it for later like everything else... Hopefully they resume the Athena plot soon, if i remember they gave a indicator on the time line in the story a few chapter ago saying a month or so past so i think in the stories timeline there is another month or so before whatever happens with Athena happens.

I can relate, over the last few months my hair bands have put on 10 kilos.  Except I don't wear hair bands.  Maybe it's my glasses that put on the weight. ^_^

hmm.. I don't really like Ayumu that much, so this chapter was more or less ok. The characters I would like to see more are Hinagiku, Athena and Luca! And why can't the plot keep on moving? it's a long time since Athena bacame a kid, we haven't heard anything more about this...
