The return of the Lance of Longinus has marked the start of the Third Impact. The members of SEELE are having a collective orgy and all in all things doesn't look too good for the likes of Shinji and Asuka.

Now what I think of it, why did Sadamoto cut the elevator scene where Asuka called Rei a puppet in the first place?

Rei has now been absorbed into Lillith with the stole Adam from Gendo. That surely won't end well.
