Ever since Alita and Figure Four went their separate ways, this manga has felt different. As if someone else is writing it. This chapter felt like one big mess.
I'm not really liking the direction this is going in, but I did like Den's plan to take out Zalem.
The beginning of this chapter was strange. Alita and Kaos making out until he calls her Yoko and she comes back to her senses and pushes him off. He tells her that he's disabled her connection with Zalem and asks her to wear a wedding dress and stay with him. Then he ends up trying to run away from her while she's wearing the dress and asking him to re-establish her connection to Lou. Kaos starts wailing and making a scene, until finally Alita agrees so she can calm him down and use him to her advantage.
They continue their travels and Kaos reveals that Desty Nova is his father and he'll ask him about Ido. At this point, Alita begins to grow suspicious.
Afterward, they run into Den of Barjack and Kaos requests to be let through. Den knows about Alita, so Alita comes out to fight him. The rest of the group tries to escape, but Koyomi decides to head back. Den reveals his goal while going up against Alita and she manages to reconnect with Lou and recieve aid to fight him. She's about to go in for the kill, but Koyomi jumps in to protect Den after hearing his speech and plan. Koyomi agrees with his ideology and decides to join Barjack. Why? So much back and forth stuff going on. Feels like a clusterfuck.
