My original review was a 4 now it is down to a 2.I want to explain my reasoning for this as I have read about 580 chapters of the novel at this point. The novel starts out very strong the first 100 chapters have a very interesting plot and lead us to the main goal of solving the problems around the MC & his sister.The biggest issue is that the novel from this point on follows the stereotypical face slapping route of certain Chinese novels and takes a big shift in style. The author basically hits all the tropes with face slapping young masters, to someone always being amazed by the MC. Hidden orgs, secret identities, etc. The other issue is the author also keeps messing up and gets called out by Chinese fans, you can follow along with this in the author notes as he keeps forgetting about people or items leading to characters disappearing in a scene or items simply just going poof.This shift in style really hurts the fun and uniqueness of the novel originally. I kept reading to this point of chapter 580 simply hoping that there would be some shift back to how it was in the first 100 chapters or so. Its a shame as the premise was much more interesting then. It is currently a very generic cultivation face slapping novel at this point.If you like generic face slapping this novel will be for you as it continues. If you wanted a fresh look into this genre of post-apocalyptic novels look elsewhere. It becomes generic very quickly.
