The Zombies Are Coming But I’m Laying Down At Home Chapter 60 Discussion

I’ve paused after reading chapter 60. It was starting to get a bit boring (I’m probably just not in the right mindset).

The summary is covering the first few chapters of the novel - essentially just an intro. A bit deceiving because it makes the story sound more humorous than it actually is.

The character building is quite decent for MC (she matures and works on her mindset a lot) but the focus of the majority of the story is MC’s powers (power in general), MC’s plant babies (it is a bit funny that she equates their maturity to various school age groups, in particular majority are kindergartners and she is the director), and a bit slice of life of MC killing zombies and growing plants and cleaning up her living space.

The romance felt more sudden than I was expecting. And while sweet when we get a few words, we don’t get much.

After stopping half way through the novel, I feel like I’ve read so much without much in the plot progression. But I think the vibe is just MC creating a community to live in.

If you’re into a story where MC is working on building her own type of oasis, I’d go for this one.
