This novel os a good read it can't be said to be a light read nor a heavy one. It also mixes realistic and unrealistic tones well in someways and in other ways it makes a modern person reading it feel a bit heavy.My only complaint is making the former FL a "jinx" there was not really a need for such, as her character itself was extremely manipulative, narrow-minded and vindictive. Rather than her being a jinx alone, it was more like the brother and sister were a jinx to each other making it impossible to exist together under the same roof.The good points in this story is the frankness honesty and boldness of the characters that I liked very much, second chances that were truly not wasted and also that the side characters had a story of there own.
