The first thing he did in the apocalypse was go and feed his uncle and cousin to zombies while they were still alive, pointlessly cruel but they did kill his parent and were in the process of stealing his inheritance.
The second thing he did was go to raid a cold storage warehouse for more food, where he ran into 3 stereotypical s*upid survivors that tried to rob him of his truck because they always do in these stories, so he proceeded to electrocute all 3 to death and then laugh about it. Whatever, sure, they tried to steal from you and you've survived in the future apocalypse.
Third is the petty and disgusting one, where he got home and met up with 2 other survivors he had been with at the start of the previous timeline. One of which was a girl who hoarded food for herself and lead them on so they would protect her. So he feeds her a slice of bread he wiped on his dogs ass, which I guess was supposed to be comical, but just came across as disgusting and unrealistic, seriously there's no way you wouldn't notice that. So I dropped it after that because I had no interest in seeing what else he was going to do to her.
[collapse]Maybe he gets better in future chapters, but having to ignore his actions and push through reading 3 times in almost as many chapters was too much for me. I don't need a goody two shoes, save everyone you meet MC, but I'd rather not have a MC that feels like they probably tortured small animals to death in the backyard for fun as a child. A shame because the premise was interesting enough and I think the story could've gone somewhere interesting.
