I spent nearly a day reading all the available chapters uploaded here because of how hooked I got. The story wastes no time and throws us right into the plot as our MC transmigrates into the lead role in the novel and we are quickly introduced to the ML and the FL.I don't want to regurgitate too much of the summary here but essentially what you get is the very classical two idiots in love trope but both our MC and FL are clueless to their own feelings and often times outright deny it. There is a lot of angst which, lesbihonest, is the bible of a good slow burn and this has got it in spades. It's so good! MC and FL both keep rescuing each other and question the other one's motives and nobody has a straight (lol) answer.There is also an underlying plot of revenge but it's all very by the books palace power struggles. Villains don't feel as threatening as they should. I wish there more stakes but it is what it is. If you want a well written romance with an actual fleshed out FL and don't care much for the bigger picture I can't recommend this enough.
