Unfairly Fired From the Healer’s Guild After Five Years of Dedicated Service – Despite Always Being the Weakest, With My Super-Ultimate Skill in Hand, I Aim to Become the Strongest! Chapter 145 Discussion

I love this one, but it’s not for everyone! It’s slow, incredibly slow, it’s not some “the MC wakes up and can just level the entire world” story. The MC struggles and claws his way up slowly with hard work and back breaking effort, which is described slowly and in great detail.

The author’s divided the story into different, very clear, arcs of progress. There’s a ton of character growth, physically and mentally, but if you’re looking for an instant change, you’ll be disappointed.

Lewin, the MC, grew up without a father as a poor commoner, his mother died from overworking when he was a child, and he ended up thrown into the Healer’s Guild as a small, malnourished, commoner child with no family in the world, surrounded by only Nobles lead by a Guild Chief who viewed commoners as literal tr*sh. He was ab*sed and overworked to the point of nearly dying, he was barely fed, and then he was cast out of the guild like garbage as soon as he turned 15 and became a legal adult. He was thrown with his meagre belongings out into the world, with no family or friends or place to belong, with little money and no particularly useful skills to help him earn a living safely.

He’s insecure. He was told he was useless tr*sh for five years straight with not a single soul on his side or any support to turn to as a child. Obviously he’s going to be insecure, he grows and changes as he experiences more things, gets stronger, and meets people he can rely on and call friends.

His character is incredibly detailed and grounded in reality. He’s dynamic and starts where you’d expect a broken and hurt child would start at. I’m not sure why people think he should be like a Chinese protagonist, all high and mighty looking down on lowly mortals.

I’d absolutely recommend giving it a try. It’s a really well written story, and it really starts to pick up a lot later on.

Also, the translation is absolutely outstanding. It exceeds many professionally published books written and edited by native English speakers. It’s truly phenomenal!

I'll be having bad feelings toward the Author about this already..She's forgotten I think what she wrote the previous chapters since she keeps on dealing with another issues regarding this story of Luna without solving the previous one..So, frustrating!!!

it's going like a dream changing stories constantly. I'm at Ch.1945 and got a doubt. When did his father die actually, where did Rey and Juno go ,what happened to that 300 day deadline. Now he's some company chairman in schywalter city ...... and even a senior to a girl??
